Torii
Torii is a dining table that uses the traditional aesthetics of Japanese woodwork. The design takes in its form the symbolism of the "Kasuga Torii", which traditionally form the entrance gate of Japanese shrines.

The table won a tender of the German Design Graduates platform and became the base exhibition space.
The design had to be adapted for the new context and converted into an exhibition table. For this purpose, the table was conceived as a system and implemented in various forms.
